Applications

ULTRASIL VN 3 has a high reinforcement potential and significantly enhances rubber mixtures in terms of Shore hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance. Activators must be added to achieve optimum rubber properties, e.g. glycols, amine or other base accelerators. With the appropriate mixture composition, ULTRASIL VN 3's higher surface means vulcanized goods have greater transparency. 
 

Application Areas

Tires:  Products with high abrasion resistance, e.g. tire treads and substructure.
Shoe Soles:  Products with high abrasion resistance, e.g. running shoes, work  boots etc.
Mechanical Rubber Goods:  Products with high abrasion resistance.
